Roller Followers Product Overview

The Roller Followers coated with resin material has certain elasticity. When used as a conveying roller, the elastic sleeve can protect devices that come into contact with the sleeve during high-speed rotation, so it is particularly suitable for conveying fragile devices (such as semiconductors and LCD devices); and resin material is superior in corrosion resistance and wear resistance compared with metal, and when the cam follower is used as a guide roller to substitute a bearing, resin material is more wear-resistant than metal material, and its service life is longer. When the mating side is a curved surface, the contact frictional force between the surface of the resin material and the curved surface is greater, thus allowing the cam follower to swing with respect to the curved surface more stably without sliding. For example, sleeves made of nylon and urethane materials, compared with those made of traditional resin material, have greatly improved hardness while retaining the original excellent properties of elasticity, wear resistance, etc., thereby substituting traditional all-metal cam followers to a certain extent to carry out higher precision operations.
