Can be used in vacuum applications of 1.3 × 10^-1 Pa even when separated.

  • Please carefully select the compatibility between the compatible fluid and the main body material and seal material, taking into account the composition, concentration, temperature, etc., of the fluid.

  • Before using the product, be sure to read the "Precautions" at the end of the digital catalog or the "Notes and Precautions" attached to the product.

Requests for the use of couplers

High voltage coupler

[Warning]

  • Do not use the socket alone or the plug alone under pressure. It may cause leakage or damage. (Applicable to SP-V couplers.)
  • Do not use continuously above the maximum operating pressure. It may cause leakage or damage.
  • At the time of separation, the fluid in the pipe flows out to the outside. Use caution when using this product in environments where there is a risk of anoxia. (Applicable to PCV pipe couplers.)

[Caution]

  • Check the compatibility of the seal material and main body material for the type of fluid and temperature before use. Improper selection of seal material may cause leakage.
  • Do not use outside the operating temperature range. The seal material may be damaged or deteriorated, causing leakage. This product is not designed for continuous use at maximum or minimum operating temperatures.
  • The durability of the "coupler" varies depending on the operating environment and usage conditions (pressure, temperature, etc.). If necessary, check the actual device under your operating environment and conditions. Be aware that stress corrosion cracking may occur in corrosion environments. The PCV pipe "coupler" should be replaced with a new one after 5,000 times of connection and separation.
  • When cleaning the "coupler," use a method that does not affect the seal material or the main body material.
  • Use a thread seal for male threads of tapered pipe threads.
  • Do not exceed the maximum recommended tightening torque. It will cause damage.
  • Install the product with care to avoid seizing of the screws. Seizing may cause leakage or damage. (SP-V coupler main body material: compatible with stainless steel.)
  • After installation, be sure to perform airtight testing before use.
  • Always use the O-ring with grease on it. If grease is not adhered to the O-ring, it will be damaged and cause leakage. (SP-V coupler seal material: compatible with chloroprene rubber and fluoroelastomer.)
  • When connecting the plug, apply a lubricant suitable for the operating environment to the O-ring or plug tip (O-ring sliding part) to lower the sliding resistance (insertion load) and to prevent O-ring damage. (SP-V coupler seal material: compatible with hydrogenated nitrile rubber.)
  • Do not use anything other than the compatible copper pipe size. It may cause a leak. If you want to use aluminum alloy pipes, please contact the manufacturer separately. (Applicable to PCV pipe couplers.)
  • The flange of the copper pipe to be used should be chamfered. If the chamfering process is not performed, the packing will be damaged, resulting in leakage. Do not use pipes that have burring or are deformed. It may cause leakage or poor connection. (Applicable to PCV pipe couplers.)
  • When connecting the copper pipe, insert the tip of the copper pipe as far as it goes to the packing, and then fold down the lever completely. Be careful not to pinch your fingers or other parts of your body when doing this. (Applicable to PCV pipe couplers.)
  • After connecting, pull lightly on the socket and plug or "coupler" and pipe to make sure they are securely connected. If the connection is incomplete, the socket and plug may separate when pressurized.
  • Do not separate while pressurized or under residual pressure. (Applicable to PCV pipe couplers.)
  • If it is necessary to connect or separate the SP-V coupler in a pressurized state or with residual pressure, please contact the manufacturer separately.
  • When connecting a copper pipe, do not rotate the pipe. The packing will be damaged and cause leakage. (Applicable to PCV pipe couplers.)
  • If there is a risk of dust or other contaminants adhering to the seal surface during separation, use the specified dust-proof cap. (Applicable to SP-V couplers.)
  • Keep the lever in the upright position when separating. (Applicable to PCV pipe couplers.)
  • Be sure to install a stop valve on the main pressure side.
  • Do not hit the tip of the automatic open/close valve with a hammer. It may cause leakage or malfunction. If you want to release the residual pressure, please contact the manufacturer separately. (Applicable to SP-V couplers.)
  • Do not use any fluid other than the compatible fluid. It may cause a leak.
  • Be sure to purify the fluid used through a filter. If contaminants enters the piping, it may cause leakage or damage.
  • Do not use the product in places where metal powder or sand dust may enter. It may cause malfunction or leakage.
  • Do not allow paint to adhere to the product. It may cause malfunction or leakage.
  • Be careful not to scratch or dent the "coupler."If the seal is scratched, it may cause leakage.
  • Do not subject the product to human impact, bending, or tension. It may cause leakage or damage.
  • Do not drop it. It may cause leakage or malfunction.
  • Use of this product in equipment subject to vibration or shock may cause a decrease in durability.
  • If the lever is deformed, discontinue use. (Applicable to PCV pipe couplers.)
  • If metal powder from the copper pipe adheres to the inside of the "coupler" after use, remove it. (Applicable to PCV pipe couplers.)
  • Do not use for any purpose other than rapid fluid fittings. (Cannot be used as a swivel joint.) (Applicable to SP-V couplers.)
  • Do not connect to rapid fluid fittings made by other manufactures. It may cause leakage or damage. (Applicable to SP-V couplers.)
  • Do not disassemble. It may cause leakage or damage.
