Using an incorrect capacitance can lead to reduced torque, rotational vibration, or overheating. Incorrect voltage ratings can cause capacitor damage, potentially leading to smoke or fire, so please be very careful.
Question: What is the overrun amount of an induction motor?
Answer: When operated under no-load conditions, the overrun amount at the motor's output shaft (as a reference value) is 30 to 40 rotations. The actual overrun amount can vary depending on the load torque due to friction and the load's moment of inertia. Additionally, if a gearhead is used, the overrun amount at the gear output shaft is calculated by dividing the overrun amount at the motor output shaft by the reduction ratio of the gearhead.
*Overrun refers to the extent of movement beyond the intended stop point after the motor's power is turned off during operation.
Question: What kind of Safety Standards is compliant to?
Answer: All World K Series models have a built-in overheat protection device and conform to major international safety standards. UL/CSA, CE Marking (Low Voltage Directive), models certified under CCC (China Compulsory Certification system) are also available.
Question: What is the operating ambient temperature?
Answer: It depends on the capacity as follows.
For 1 W and 3 W motors: -10 to +40 °C (must not freeze)
For 6 W to 90 W motors with single-phase 100 V, single-phase 200 V, and three-phase 200 V: -10 to +50 °C (must not freeze)
For other voltages: -10 to +40 °C (must not freeze)
