Locking nut for bearings that maintains stability
It has a locking effect that is not affected by vibrations caused by high-speed rotation or shocks caused by forward or reverse rotation.
Locking structure of HLB Series
Eccentric processed convex nut 1
and perfect circular processed concave nut 2
are combined to generate a strong locking effect
in the direction perpendicular to the shaft axis
by the wedge principle.
Like the hard lock nut, HLB's wedge has
a strong anti-loosening effect, as the shaft and nut
are completely integrated, and shock and vibration
caused by any high speed rotation are not attracted.
The HLB has the same locking effect and squareness
accuracy regardless of whether the HLB is tightened
from the uneven surface. However, if more load is
required, it is recommended to fasten with a convex nut.
