MS connectors are compliant with the MIL standard. Plugs come in straight and right-angled versions, and waterproof and TUV-certified versions are available for selection.

[Features]
• Plugs include waterproof versions: Waterproof plugs come in L-shaped and straight types. The L-shaped types use a divided shell so as not to impede wiring.
• Plugs are structured to be waterproof when fitted to a receptacle.
• Waterproof performance is IP67 or better: Types whose receptacle is a male terminal are waterproof as a unit.
• Receptacles are waterproof as units, preventing moisture from infiltrating into the machinery from outside. (Types with female terminals are not waterproof as units.)
• TUV-certified connectors are equipped with protection circuits (ground): When the connector is pulled out, the protection circuit (ground) connects before any other circuit, and breaks after other circuits break.
• The protection circuit is structured to be connected directly to the exterior metal case of the connector.
• Full product line-up: Plug types include straight and L-shaped. Waterproof and TUV-certified versions are available, providing a wide range of selections to match the equipment used.

Product Precautions

Connector Usage Precautions

  1. 1. Make sure the power is off before mating or un-mating the connector.
  2. 2. Because the power supply side of the circuit features a shock prevention function, be sure to use the connector female contact side.
  3. 3. Make sure that the coupling is in the completely locked position (fully tightened state.)
  4. 4.Cable clamping, cable rotation, and other forces may vary with the cable construction. Make sure that your cable is suitable for use with these connectors before usage and production.
  5. 5. This product uses silver plated contacts. Note that silver easily reacts to sulfur based gases, causing discoloration or degradation when exposed to certain environmental conditions such as those detailed below.
  • Areas with high levels of powder dust and dirt
  • Regions or areas with high concentrations of sulfur dioxide gas, hydrogen sulfide gas, nitrogen dioxide gas, etc. (Emission gases from vehicles and factories, etc.)
  • It is recommended to store the products in their original packaging or similar state in order to prevent discoloration during storage or when placed in environments with high levels of temperature variability such as near an air conditioner unit.
  • Temperature: -10 to +60°C, humidity: 85% or less (An environment where temperature and relative humidity are constant and there is little temperature variation is recommended.)
  • Use within 6 months of delivery. (If the storage period has expired, please examine the connectors and solder cups for corrosion and/or tarnish.)
