Cautions/prohibitions

To use the air grinder safely

The following are the minimum required precautions. For details, please use in accordance with the provisions of the Industrial Safety and Health Act of Japan.

The Industrial Safety and Health Act of Japan (Act No. 57 of 1972)
Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health of Japan (Ministry of Labor Ordinance No. 32, 1972)

Air Angle Grinder Precautions 1

1. Check the specified display on the air grinder main body and abrasive stone cover. Maximum rotational speed without load, diameter / thickness / hole diameter of grindstones that can be used, rotation direction of grindstones, maximum peripheral speed of grindstones.

Air Angle Grinder Precautions 2

2. For grinders with a speed governor (governor), periodically check the rotational speed to see if it is operating properly to maintain the normal rotational speed, and if there is an abnormality, immediately prohibit the use, please.

Air Angle Grinder Precautions 3

3. Be sure to use the specified flanges and covers for the grindstones, check whether the mounting conditions are normal, and immediately prohibit the use if there are abnormalities such as non-specified dimensions, quality defects, abrasion, or lack of parts, please.

Air Angle Grinder Precautions 4

4. Use grindstones of quality and strength that meet the regulations, and prohibit the use of grindstones that have abnormalities such as damage or deterioration.

Air Angle Grinder Precautions 5

5. Install, replace and test the grindstones in a specific safe place with a designated responsible person.
Be sure to perform a test run for 1 minute before the start of grinding work and 3 minutes after replacing the grindstones in a specific safe place to check for any abnormalities.

Air Angle Grinder Precautions 6

6. Take great care not to exceed the specified rotational speed of the grinder, and do not increase the air pressure used above the specified value to increase the rotational speed.

Air Angle Grinder Precautions 7

7. Be sure to properly attach the appropriate grindstone cover to the air grinder that uses a grindstone with a diameter of 50 mm or more.

Air Angle Grinder Precautions 8

8. Never use at a rotational speed higher than the maximum operating speed indicated on the grindstone.
