Oil tempered and quenched chrome vanadium electrical steel is used for the material. The hardness of the blade is approximately HRC 62. Workpieces up to HRC 48 can be cut. Can also cut stainless steel.
[Features]
· Realizes the ideal transmission of force.
· This compact bolt cutter can be called a "very efficient tool".
· Adopts a design that utilizes the effect of the principle of leverage to realize ideal power transfer with little loss.
· The cutting capacity is approximately 20 times that of general nippers.
· 61% load reduction.
· A force of 499 N (49.9 kp) is required for cutting 2 mm diameter piano wire with heavy-duty slant nippers (200 mm), but by using the KNIPEX "CoBolt", only a force of 192 N (19.2 kp) is needed for the same cut.
· A dent is provided at the base of the blade where the most force is transmitted, so thick wires can be cut without slipping.
· It includes an opening spring and retaining hook.
· Head finish: Polished.

- With open springs and fastening hooks. Special rubber is inserted in the joint stopper part to buffer impacts during cutting. Relatively soft material is used for the blue part of the handle to prevent slipping and improve grip. In addition, hard material is used for the red part to reduce friction when opening the handle.
