Safety Warning

Precautions When Installing Product

  • *Before installing this product, in order to ensure safe use and fully utilize its functionality, carefully read the following points before choosing an appropriate location.
  • *This product cannot be used outdoors.
  • *Use in a location that is not near a high-temperature object (dryer, etc.) at 60℃ or higher. There is a risk of deformation of the main body.
  • *Do not place within a hood equipped with a sterilization lamp, etc. that generates UV light. There is a risk of damage by discoloration and deterioration of the acrylic plate.
  • *Use in a level and stable location. There is a risk of knocking this product over, or causing items within it to fall over or drop.
  • *Use in a location that does not receive direct sunlight. There is a risk of damage by discoloration, deformation and deterioration of the acrylic plate.

Precautions When Using Product

  • *Do not disassemble or modify it. We do not take any responsibility for accidents caused by using modified or disassembled devices.
  • *This product is not built to withstand pressure, so do not place it under elevated or reduced pressures under any circumstances . Elevated or reduced pressures may cause damage and injury.
  • *The majority of this product is made of acrylic. If this product is handled roughly, it could cause damage resulting in injuries, so handle with care.
  • *Open and close the door slowly. If handled roughly, it could cause damage resulting in injuries.
  • *When moving the main body, check the box to make sure that there is nothing stored inside before moving. There is a possibility that objects stored inside could become damaged due to the vibrations, etc. while moving.
  • *Check the exterior of the main body, door, etc. to make sure there are no damaged areas, cracks or other abnormalities before use.
  • *This product will be infiltrated by acids (hydrochloric acid, chromic acid, nitric acid, sulfuric acid, etc.) and organic solvents (acetone, xylene, chloroform, alcohols, acetic acids, etc.), so do not bring it into contact with these chemicals.
  • *The OUT valve cannot handle exhaust pressure if there is a sudden pressure increase, so when performing gas replacement, do so at low pressure.
  • *Always open the OUT valve when performing gas replacement.

Usage Method

  1. 1. Place this product in a location that fulfills all the requirements for a safe installation.
  2. 2. Insert the glove tips into the main body, then fold the edge over and insert them into the glove holder (there is a left and right glove).
  3. 3. Put on the included glove fixing O-ring from the top of the glove (at this time, make sure that the glove fixing O-ring slips into the glove holder groove).

About Gas Replacement

  1. 1.The main body of the glove compartment has 2 gas valves, one is used as an "IN" valve for gas replacement and the other as an "OUT" valve.
  2. 2.Connect the IN valve to a gas supply line (at this point, confirm that the valve is closed / the gas valve connection port is a single-action tube joint with an outer diameter of ø6 (mm)).
  3. 3.If you do not wish to release replacement gas into the room, connect a ventilation hose to the OUT valve (however, because gas will still leak from the door, the use of harmful gases is prohibited).
  4. 4.Once both valves are connected, fully open the OUT valve.
  5. 5.Once the supply pressure of the replacement gas is set to 10 kPa or less, open the IN valve and begin gas replacement.
  6. 6.Once the required atmosphere has been replaced, further reduce the supply gas pressure and begin work (moreover, a flow meter will also need to be installed so that you can read the flow rate of the replacement gas).

Precautions About Gas Replacement

  • *This glove compartment is not designed to handle harmful gases or harmful substances that contain radioactive material, so do not, under any circumstances, use it to handle material that would be dangerous if it leaked outside of the box.
  • *After replacement gas supply has been ceased, an internal atmosphere equivalent to the atmosphere while gas is supplied cannot be maintained.
  • *While designed to prevent damage to the main body due to leaks from the door, it cannot handle sudden pressure increases, so use low pressure during gas replacement.

About Maintenance

  • *Wipe with a soft cloth soaked in water or hot water that has been thoroughly wrung out.
  • *Use a neutral detergent for tough grime, and wipe off with a cloth after using the detergent.
  • *Do not use cleansers (polishing powder), thinners, kerosene, acids or any similar substances under any circumstances.
