Hex socket screw with a flat head.
[Features]
· Sometimes abbreviated to flat head screw. Use a hex wrench or similar to tighten the hex socket.
· In addition to being tightenable using a hex wrench, there are also other types available with larger nominal diameters than flat-head countersunk screws with cross recessed heads.
· If the nominal diameter of the head is the same, it should be roughly the same as a countersunk machine screw, but take care as there are also standard and custom order hex socket flat head screws available.
· Nominal M: 3/4/5/8, Material: steel.
· Surface treatment: none / black nickel.
[Applications]
· Essentially the same as a flat-head countersunk screws, but the head socket looks hexagonal after tightening.
