Packing is a general term for seals that are hermetically mounted on machines that reciprocate or rotate with pneumatic or hydraulic pressure. The material used is specially-mixed nitrile rubber, such as Eskid Rubber and fluoroelastomer FKM, etc., as well as cloth with phenolic resin, copper, etc. Rubber is heat-resistant, phenolic resin with cloth is load-bearing, and copper is a material with excellent electrical and thermal conductivity. Types of packing include rod packing with excellent abrasion properties, piston packing that is optimal for reciprocating movement, dust seals specifically designed to prevent dust from entering, etc. There is also a rod and piston dual use type. Packing that can be used appropriately for any machine can be selected because the external shape inner diameters are fine.
